Be creative

That feeling of walking through nature and trying to capture a momentary glance of magic through the lens - taken by a real camera though, one where you have to look through the viewfinder to focus and zoom in on the subject, find the angle and most importantly, find the light. Fully focussed, where you can get lost in the beauty of it all.

If you listen,
not to the pages or preachers
but to the smallest flower
growing from a crack
in your heart,
you will hear a great song
moving across a wide ocean
whose water is the music
connecting all the islands
of the universe together,
and touching all
you will feel it
touching you
around you…
embracing you
with light.

It is in that light
that everything lives
and will always be alive.
— John Squadra, The Ecstasy

My camera is a Canon EOS 6D Mark II which I purchased with a wonderful EF 24-105mm f/4 L IS USM lens. Then last year I bought my first macro lens for all the close-ups: it’s a Canon EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM. Below some of my own snapped favourites so far!
